About Passe-par-tout

My photo
Solange
I'm always on the look out for beautiful objects, people, places, images, paintings, ideas that stop me in my tracks, perhaps make my heart beat a little faster. This is my online scrapbook to store the treasures I find for never-ending inspiration. I hope you'll linger and page through it with me - and please do say hello.

Why Passe-par-tout?

Pronounced pas-pahr-too

Passepartout was named for three good reasons:

1. It means "goes everywhere" in French.

2. Passepartout was Phileas Fogg's sidekick in Around the World in Eighty Days. He offered his unique perspective on Fogg's experiences.

3. I just love the word!

This blog is my Passpartout. A place where anything I love is at home. A place for me to think about the things I love in different ways, share my thoughts and, hopefully, learn from the input of friends I make along the way.
